Youth choir "Kamēr…"

  • Youth choir "Kamēr…" is one of Latvia’s and the world’s most influential choral groups. Founded in 1990 by Māris Sirmais, currently led by Artistic Director and Principal Conductor Jurģis Cābulis, together with Patriks Kārlis Stepe​ in the role of Second Conductor, they are the only choir in the world which has won four times​ the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing.

  • Known for its distinctive vocal style and conceptually rich and striking musical programmes, the amateur ensemble maintains professional‑level standards.

  • The ellipsis in the choir’s name (Kamēr… means “While…” in Latvian) symbolizes the idea: “While we are young, anything is possible.”

  • The choir was founded in 1990 by Māris Sirmais. He was principal conductor of Kamēr… until 2012. Sirmais was succeeded in this position by Jānis Liepiņš (2012–2018) and Aivis Greters (2018–2022) – all have been Grand Music Award laureates for work with the choir.

 Toronto Children’s Chorus

  • The Toronto Children's Chorus (TCC) is a vibrant musical community that has been nurturing young voices in Toronto, Canada for generations. Led by internationally-acclaimed Artistic Director Zimfira Poloz, the TCC is proud to have been a cornerstone of choral excellence in Toronto and Canada for 48 years.

  • The TCC, consisting of eight choirs for ages six through 18, inspires growth, teamwork, and artistic excellence while fostering collaboration, peer leadership, self-discipline, creativity and a lifelong passion for music through its exceptional choral training and performance experiences.

  • Throughout TCC’s illustrious history, its senior choir- TCC Chamber Choir - has performed regularly with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, and has graced world-renowned stages including Carnegie Hall, the Kennedy Center, the Sydney Opera House, Royal Albert Hall, and The Dom in Salzburg. As choral ambassadors, the TCC has represented Canada on 33 international tours and eighth national tours.

New Zealand Secondary Students Choir

  • The New Zealand Secondary Students’ Choir (NZSSC) is Aotearoa’s national choir for students aged 13 to 18. Comprising up to 60 members selected through nationwide auditions every two years, the choir gathers during school holidays for intensive rehearsals and concerts, typically culminating in an international tour.

  • For many, the NZSSC is a life-changing experience that provides a clear pathway to professional music careers. Alumni frequently progress to the New Zealand Youth Choir and Voices New Zealand Chamber Choir, becoming influential figures in the global music community. By learning from premier conductors and vocal coaches, members realize their potential while representing New Zealand on the world stage.​​

  • Formally established in 1986, the NZSSC has undertaken 13 international tours across Asia, the Americas, and Africa. The choir has earned prestigious accolades at major competitions, including:​​

Major Competition Accolades:

  • The Choir of the World title at the World Youth & Children’s Choir Festival - Hong Kong. (2006)

  • World Choir Games (Xiamen, China): Gold Award (Champion Mixed Voice Youth Choir) and Silver Award (Folk and Ethnic Music).

  • Pacific Basin Choral Festival (Hawaii): Gold award and named "Outstanding Choir of the Festival."

  • Llangollen Eisteddfod (2022): Named "Children’s Choir of the World."

  • International Choral Kathaumixw (Canada): Won three first-place awards. During the 11th Kathaumixw, the choir received more awards than any other choir in any year of the festival’s history—a record that still stands.

The NZSSC continues to nurture the nation's finest young voices, fostering excellence through collaboration and international ambassadorship.

Guangzhou Children's Choir

Founded in 2017, the Guangzhou Children's Choir is supported by the Guangzhou Women's Federation and organized by the Guangzhou Children's Activity Center. It currently has a membership of 1,100 students.

 

Since its establishment, the choir has achieved a series of remarkable successes:

​​

  • 2025:​ The choir's ensembles won multiple Gold Champion​ titles and the Overall Grand Champion​ award at the Chengdu (International) Children’s Chorus Week.

  • 2025:​ The "A Team" won the Gold Champion​ in the Children's Category at the "Dawn Voices, Sing for China" National Youth Choral Presentation.

  • 2024:​ Awarded the Double Gold Prize​ at the 17th China International Chorus Festival, with its Mixed Choir also receiving the highest honor—the title of "Exemplary Voice" Choir.

  • ​​2023:​ Swept the 9th China Children's Chorus Festival, winning Gold Champion​ in both key categories and the Overall Festival Champion​ title.

  • 2022:​ The choir's Kindergarten Group (Ages 4-6)​ won the Overall Grand Champion​ at the inaugural Flower City Kindergarten Choir Festival.

  • 2022:​ Won Gold Champion​ titles at multiple prestigious international competitions, including the World Choir Games (Video Competition)​ and the Finland Sibelius International Choir Competition.

  • 2022:​ Their performance of "Song of the Stars" received a nomination at the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA).

  • Early Years (2017-2018):​ Secured top awards, including a Gold Award​ at the 17th Taipei International Choral Festival (2017)​ and Double Gold Awards​ at the 5th International Youth Music Festival in Bratislava (2018).

The Hong Kong Children's Choir

  • The Hong Kong Children’s Choir (HKCC) was founded in 1969 as the first children’s choir in Hong Kong. HKCC is a registered non-profit-making charitable organization and has made tremendous contributions for children’s arts training in Hong Kong. It is now the biggest choir in the world with over 5,000 members and has grown into a diversified arts organization for children. 

​​

  • HKCC is invited to perform overseas each year, spreading the message of love and peace in different parts of the world. The Choir has been well received and appreciated in many countries, gaining an international reputation as the “Little Goodwill Singing Ambassadors” and “one of the best children’s choirs in the world”. In 2014, HKCC is selected by the International Federation for Choral Music (IFCM) as one of the IFCM Ambassadors for 2013 to 2015.

  • As the children’s choir representing Hong Kong, HKCC has taken part in many historical moments, including the Ocean Park Opening Ceremony in 1977, the Hong Kong Handover Ceremony in 1997, the Hong Kong International Airport Opening Ceremony in 1998 and the Hong Kong Disneyland Grand Opening in 2005. Additionally, HKCC has participated in performances celebrating the anniversaries of Hong Kong’s reunification with China, the Beijing Olympic Games in 2008, the East Asian Games and the anniversaries of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China. 

The Mad Singers

Artistic Director & Conductor: Mr. Danny Wu & Mr. Christien Wong

  • Founded in 2021, The Mad Singers is a youth chamber choir based in Hong Kong, committed to nurturing young choral enthusiasts and broadening their musical experiences through participation in top-notch global choral events.

​​

  • Since its establishment, The Mad Singers have actively engaged in a series of international competitions spanning multiple countries across Asia and Europe. Recently, they were the Grand Prix finalists of the International Choir Competition “Prof. Georgi Dimitrov” 2024 in Varna, Bulgaria; achieving First Place in the Chamber Choirs Category alongside special awards for interpretation and conductor performance.

  • They also received the “Choir of the World Award” at the World Youth & Children’s Choir Festival 2024 and won the title of “Grand Prix Champion” at the Taipei International Choral Competition 2023. Their dedication to musical excellence has led to invitations to prestigious competitions like the World Choral Championships and contests associated with the European Grand Prix for Choral Singing. The Mad Singers has also engaged in choral workshops and masterclasses from notable choral conductors such as Peter Dijkstra and Urša Lah.
