15 – 19 / 7 / 2018 ,  Hong Kong
Hong Kong Cultural Centre | Tsuen Wan Town Hall | Sha Tin Town Hall | L’ hotel Nina et Convention Centre

The Belt & Road World Choir Festival was successfully held on 15 - 19 July, 2018.

36 participating choirs, 21 jury members, 3 resident artist choirs, 9 performing choirs, and 139 volunteers took part in the Festival that featured 5 Starry Concerts, an 8-category competition, 12 masterclasses, 3 interactive workshops, 2 friendly concerts and cultural excursions around Hong Kong.

The inaugural Belt & Road World Choir Festival echoes the vision of the Belt & Road Initiative that promotes deeper cultural exchanges and tighter connections across Eurasia – an idea which perfectly aligns with WYCCAA’s mission and commitment to the musical world. Through choral arts, the Festival will explore the history and cultural heritage of the Belt & Road related countries and searches for artistic and choral perfection from all over the world. Through which we hope to share and celebrate peace, love and cultural diversity.
