Phoenix TV “The World Sings for Olympics” Concert

Phoenix TV celebrated the Olympics on 18 July 2008 in the concert “The World Sings for Olympics”, co-organized by the Hong Kong Treble Choirs’ Association and the Sports Federation and Olympic Committee of Hong Kong, China. The World Youth Choir, along with 6 Choirs from Asia and 28 Choirs from Hong Kong and Macau Youth Symphony Orchestra, performed in the AsiaWorld-Expo. The Concert was broadcasted worldwide to Hong Kong, Mainland China and 200 countries around the world, courtesy of Phoenix TV and Asia Television Ltd. This event marked the celebration of friends from all over the world as we all cheered on China for the Olympics, and Hong Kong for the Equestrian events! Renowned artist Jacky Chan joined with the outstanding choirs and orchestra, Vice President of the International Federation for Choral Music, Prof. Leon Shiu-wai TONG and Grammy Award Nominated Renowned Jazz Conductor, Steve ZEGREE as conductors, and perform “One World, One Voice” by Prof. Wing-wah CHAN and Mr. Roger LUK, “We are Ready” by Mr. Peter Kam and Mr. Keith CHAN and “Light the Passion Share the Dream” by Mr. Chris BABIDA.
